Libby is a writer and dance artist from Houston who uses rhythmic specificity, movement spectacle, and visual imagination to celebrate queer and trans community. Their play CALF SCRAMBLE will have its world premiere at Primary Stages in spring 2026, directed by Caitlin Sullivan. Libby’s plays have been developed and produced with Playwrights Horizons, Ojai Playwrights Conference, the Kennedy Center MFA Playwrights Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theater, Boston University, Coffey Street Studios, Muhlenberg College Theater Association, the Workshop Theater Lab, and Occidental College.

Libby’s a proud member of EST/Youngblood and has been an artist-in-residence with Fresh Ground Pepper, Invulnerable Nothings’ Barn Lab, and MOtiVE Brooklyn. They have a BA in Playwriting and a BA in Plan II Honors from UT Austin.

Libby’s an only child raised by three teachers. Their favorite part of the rodeo is mutton busting.
